Custom & Personalized Products Policy

This policy applies to all custom, personalised and made-to-order products and services supplied by Planet Make It, including products using customer-supplied artwork, images, photographs, logos, text, designs, instructions or other content.

This policy applies regardless of the product type or printing/production method used.

Customer-Supplied Artwork & Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all artwork, images, photographs, logos, text, names, dates, designs, instructions and other information supplied to Planet Make It are correct and ready for production.

What you upload or provide is what we use to create your order.

Please carefully check all spelling, names, dates, wording, images, colours, quantities, product selections and other details before submitting your order.

Planet Make It is not responsible for errors contained within information or artwork supplied or approved by the customer.

Where artwork is required, we recommend supplying the highest-quality file available, preferably 300 DPI where applicable. Low-resolution, blurry, pixelated or poor-quality files may affect the finished result.

Copyright, Ownership & Permission

By uploading, submitting or providing any artwork, image, photograph, logo, trademark, text, design or other material to Planet Make It, you confirm that you:

• Own the material; or
• Have obtained all necessary permission, licences or authority to have the material reproduced and used for your order.

You confirm that the material supplied does not infringe the copyright, trademark, intellectual property, privacy or other rights of another person or business.

Planet Make It does not independently verify the ownership or licensing status of customer-supplied material and accepts submissions on the basis that the customer has the necessary rights and permissions.

To the extent permitted by law, the customer accepts responsibility for claims, losses, liabilities or reasonable costs arising from material they supplied without the necessary rights or permission.

Colours, Sizing & Production Variations

Colours displayed on phones, tablets and computer screens may differ from the finished product due to differences in screen settings, brightness, colour profiles, materials and production methods.

While we aim to reproduce designs as accurately as reasonably possible, an exact screen-to-finished-product colour match cannot be guaranteed.

The size, positioning or proportions of artwork may be adjusted where reasonably necessary to suit the selected product, printable area or production method.

Minor variations may occur between handmade, printed, personalised or made-to-order products as part of the production process.

Content We Will Not Produce

Planet Make It reserves the right to refuse or cancel a custom order containing material that includes:

• Hate speech, racism or discriminatory content
• Anti-LGBTQ+ or other content targeting people based on protected characteristics
• Political campaign, political party or candidate promotional material
• Threatening, abusive or seriously offensive content
• Explicit nudity or sexually explicit material
• Material promoting illegal activity
• Material we reasonably believe infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
• Any other material we reasonably consider unsuitable for our products or services

Submitting an order or artwork does not guarantee that Planet Make It will accept the material for production.

Custom Orders, Changes & Cancellations

Custom and personalised products are created specifically for each customer based on their selections, instructions and/or supplied artwork.

Once production has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Customers are responsible for checking all product options, sizes, colours, quantities, personalisation details and supplied artwork before completing their order.

Returns & Errors

Custom, personalised and made-to-order products cannot be returned or exchanged simply because of a change of mind, incorrect customer selection or an error contained within customer-supplied information or artwork.

If Planet Make It makes an error in producing your order that differs from the information or artwork correctly supplied by you, please contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to customers under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptance of This Policy

By purchasing a custom, personalised or made-to-order product from Planet Make It, or by submitting artwork or other material for us to use, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Custom & Personalised Products Policy.

You also confirm that the information and artwork supplied are correct and that you have all necessary rights and permissions for Planet Make It to reproduce and use the material for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
